He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Rist; his children, Kim Halbrooks (Joey), Karen Looper (Wes), Kori Rist (David Martin) and Kyle Rist (Sara); his grandchildren, Elise (Wyatt), Alex, Carson, Landon, Kate, Ayla, Alyvia, Ansley, Evan, Kinsey, Kaleb and Bode; his sisters, Portia Binder (Richard), Patsy Stephan (Leo) and Peggy Ray (Jim); and his mother-in-law Dorothy Christiansen. He is also survived by husband for 52 years, a proud father of his four children, and the best PaPa to his twelve grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Hecker Sportsmans Club or Siteman Cancer Center.
