It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Norma-Jean Chase of Henry, Illinois, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kelso and Karalena Anna Mathilda Spaulding (Doehring). She is survived by: her siblings, Roy E. Spaulding, Larry Spaulding and Sharon Riggs; her children, Susan Irene Bowen, Billie Jo Chase, Cynthia Chase, Elbert Guy Chase of Urbana, Deb Stange (Ray) of Henry, Jean Hagemeier of Rantoul, Sandy Mathews (Tim) of Gulf Shores, AL. and Wanda Moore of Filley, NEB; her son-in-law Bruce Bowen of Urbana; her siblings, Rudy Spaulding (Jan) of Fisher, Karen Cook (Ray) of Fisher, Pam Mathews (Russ) of Theodosia, MO. and Sheila Semencez (Jim) of Rutherford, NJ.; and her great great grandchild Many. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and friends.
