He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Bower, Sr. and Roberta Bower (Utley); his son Jeffrey Bower; and his sister Mary Wetherholt. He is survived by: his wife Carol Bower of Oblong; his daughters, Kim Goss (Rick) of Oblong and Misty Nussmeyer (Rik) of West Salem; his grandchildren, Travis Huddleston (Britni) of Robinson, Levi Huddleston (Hilary) of Oblong, Payton Goss (Autumn) of Willow Hill, Ricky Bower (Brandy) of Wyoming, Tasha Owens (Billy) of Connecticut, Lillian Nussmeyer of West Salem and Lola Nussmeyer of West Salem; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Audrey, Jack, Graham, Carter, Nolan, Weston, Jaden, Maddox, Elaina, Kinsley, Kingston, Jayla, Jayzie, Jacen, Keaton, Korbin, Noah, Ryleigh and Jacob; and his siblings, Jerry Bower (Shirley) of Oblong, Larry Bower (Kathy) of Newton, Kenny Bower (Charlotte) of Latona, Rita Dallmier (David) of Stoy, Donna Bemont (Monte) of Newton and George Bower of Newton.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Honey Cemetery.
