With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary E. Turner of Herrick, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Turner and Goldie Turner (Beck); her husband Fred; her grandson Marcus Turner; and her siblings, Harry W. Turner, Vivian Lucille Turner, Mildred Lourash and Marie Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Colleen Turner of Herrick, IL and Bradley Wayne Turner (Kim) of Herrick, IL; her grandsons, Matthew Weinberg (Snigdha) of Columbus, OH, Charles Weinberg (Corrie) of Champaign, IL, Luke Turner (Christy) of Mattoon, IL, Seth Turner (Anna) of Shelbyville, IL and Alex Turner (Sadie) of Effingham, IL; and her great grandchildren, Lena Weinberg, Deven Weinberg, Jimmy Weinberg, Annie Weinberg, Lauren Turner, Clara Turner, Mara Turner, Millie Turner, Lee Turner and Cal Turner.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Howe and Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Herrick Food Pantry.
