She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Burks and Beulah Burks (Rosson); her husband Jim; her son Bruce; and her siblings, Roy Burks, Kathleen Ridderhoff, Imogene "Gene", Junior Burks and Harold Burks.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Durham (John Gordon) of Herrin, Illinois; her sisters, Phyllis Gipson of West Frankfort, Illinois and Linda Jarvis (Richard) of Genoa, Illinois; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Roland (Richard) of Delaware, Franklin Followell of Mulkeytown and Willard Followell (Ann) of Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-neieces and nephews.
