It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Becky McVey of Herrin, Illinois, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Wallace Rankin McVey, Jr.. She is survived by : her mother Bonnie Roberts (Staresnick) of Energy, IL; her daughter Katie; her son-in-law Sam Bowers of Marion, IL; her brother Chuck Roberts of Energy, IL; her mother-in-law Linda McVey of Herrin; her brothers-in-law, Tom McVey (Debbie Bowen) of Herrin, Rob and Michele McVey of Herrin; her uncles, Gary Staresnick of Minneapolis, MN and Tim Staresnick of Minneapolis, MN; her aunt Kathy Staresnick of Minneapolis, MN; her niece Whitney McVey of Herrin; her niece Megan McVey of Herrin; her nephew Joshua Ray McVey of Herrin; and also, Remi and Skylar.
