She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland John Edgar and Paradine Ruth Conroy (Fann); her husband Bobby Akins, Sr.; and her son Bobby Lee Akins, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Jerry Ray Akins of Herrin; her grandchildren, Jeremy Ryan Akins, Jenna Renee Akins, Tyler Joseph Akins, Brandon Cottonaro, Dylan Cottonaro, Dalton Lee Akins and Hannah Akins; her great grandchildren, Kadyn Parris and Matthew Parris; her sister Dorothy Atterberry of Herrin; and her pet Isabella Akins.
