He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Brandon and Mabel Brandon (Brown); and his siblings, Clyde Eugene, Carl Edward Brandon and Mary Louise Brandon.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Conti; his children, Don, David Craig, Michelle Holdway (Neil) of Schaumburg and Patrick Brandon (Stephanie Moore) of Webster Groves; his granddaughter Helena Brandon of Webster Groves; his siblings, John Brandon (Sheryl) of Springfield and Ruth Ellen Fross (Tim) of Belleville; and his cousins, Arthur Brandon of Mulkeytown and Ralph Brandon of Carterville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's honor to the Friends of the Herrin City Library or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
