He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Katherine (Reese) and Geddes Deon Riggin; and his sister Revena Riggin. He is survived by: his wife Judy Riggin; his son Rick Riggin; his grandsons, Rick and Jason Riggin; his great grandchildren, Tristen Riggin, Baliegh Johnston, Isaak Riggin and Mahala Riggin; his great great grandchildren, Emily and Amelia Johnston; his brother Bill Riggin (Nancy); his nieces and nephews, Dani Bartok and Ryan Riggin; and his great-nephew Trent Riggin.

Memorial contributions can be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
