She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Dawson and Helen Dawson; her husband Richard Rushing; and her children, Vicki Lamb, Randy Jeralds and Neal Jeralds.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce E. Riggs and Kent Scott Jeralds (Nancy); her son-in-law Charles Lamb; and her brother Jack Dawson. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Herrin City Cemetery (1324 E Stotlar St, Herrin, IL 62948).
