The memory of Edwin Henry Tresnak of Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tresnak and Besse Marousek Tresnak; and his sisters, Marsha Tresnak Mindham and Cheryl Tresnak Finch. He is survived by: his wife Sue Conaway Tresnak; his children, Julie Tresnak Dietz (Jim) and Michael Edwin Tresnak (Candace); and his grandchildren, Erick Dietz, Brigitte Dietz, Michael Dietz, Alexandria Wiggin Rogers (Brooks), Victoria Wiggin, Preston Tresnak, Gabriella Tresnak and Isabella Tresnak.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home (2704 S Park Ave, Herrin, IL 62948). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the Herrin City Cemetery (1324 E Stotlar St #1320, Herrin, IL 62948).
In honor of his life of service, donations may be made to the Herrin Unit 4 Education Foundation to establish a scholarship in his memory, or to the First United Methodist Church of Carbondale.
