He is survived by: his children, Ashley Burgess (Kraig Reinitz), Daton Burgess and Josh Burgess; his grandchildren, Taylor-Sue Goeke, Samual Goeke, Abigail Goeke and Kohlbe Reinitz; his brothers, Thomas Burgess (Cristinia), Paul Burgess (Catherine) and Fred Burgess; and the mother of his children Lisa Barnes-Atterberry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
