He was predeceased by: his parents, John Quincy and Lucy Ice (Long); his sisters, Helen Mae Bozue and Barbara Robison; his stepsister Rosemary Gossage; his brother Eddie Ice; his son-in-law Michael Nicks; his wife Lesta Blythe Ice (Carol); and his stepmother Eva Dean Ice.
He is survived by: his children, Luana Nicks of Herrin and Daryl Ice of Benton; and his grandson Earl "Tom" Glisson of Herrin.
