She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lessig and Edna Lessig (Trinkle); her spouse Ervil L. Wilcoxen, Jr.; and her sister Emogene Brown. She is survived by: her children, Tim Hughes of Chicago, Beth Wilcoxen-Henry (Chuck) of Mitchell, Kathy Houchin (Parker) of Mitchell, Paul Wilcoxen (Vanessa) of Herrin, Illinois, Donna Jackson and Raymond Eugene Wilcoxen; her grandson Kevan Wilcoxen; and her siblings, Steve Lessig, Gene Lessig and Donald Lessig. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her beloved dog.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Chastain Funeral Home (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Cemetery (1315 W Brook St, Mitchell, IN 47446).
