It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Edward Proctor (Herrin, Illinois), who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph D Proctor and Georgia Redfearn Proctor; his son David Ward Proctor; and his siblings, Paul Albert, Ralph Woodrow, Opal Lucille, Nora Estalee White, Dorothy Thomas, Joetta Myers, Ruth Erline Hooker and Mary Dean Proctor.
He is survived by: his wife Joanna May Ward; his son Daniel (Melinda); his grandchildren, Rachel Roberts (Justin), Sarah Proctor, Joseph D. Proctor and Nicholas Ray Proctor (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Alexa Marie Roberts and Cash Allen Roberts.
