He is survived by: his wife Selena Diaz of Herrin; his children, Crystal Golla, Johnpaul Golla, Jr., Tristan Brown, Anastasia Diaz, Gavin Diaz-Golla, Everleigh Diaz, Jesse Diaz-Golla and Miguel Diaz; his grandchildren, James and Marriah; his siblings, Billy Golla and Shirley Huff; his parents-in-law, Tiny Diaz and Artemio Diaz; and his sisters-in-law, Leaanna Diaz and Ana Diaz.
