Herrin- Korey Eugene Baldwin, age 34, of Herrin, passed away in Herrin. Korey was born in Herrin on July 24, 1984, the son of Tina Louise Prewitt and Kevin Eugene Baldwin. He married Stephanie Allen in Johnston City on August 15, 2015. Korey had worked as a roofer. Survivors include his wife-Stephanie Baldwin of West Frankfort Daughter- Sophie Baldwin of West Frankfort Daughter on the way- Kori Baldwin Son- Joshua Eugene Baldwin of Herrin Daughter- Amelia Madison Baldwin of Herrin Mother- Tina Louise Prewitt of Herrin Father- Kevin Eugene Baldwin of Herrin Step-Father- Richey Brandon of Herrin Brother- Lance Baldwin of Herrin Brother- Stephon Mincey of Herrin Sister- Sierra Baldwin of Marion Sister- Kimberly Baldwin of Carterville Grandparents- Richard and Josephine Prewitt of Herrin Aunt- Penny Baldwin Uncle- Chad Baldwin Sister-in-law- Chrystal Allen of West Frankfort Sister-in-law- Tabitha Allen of DuQuoin Brother-in-law- Derrick Allen of Centralia Special Friends- Mariea Cooper of Herrin Ricky Cooper of Herrin Dustin Mezo of Herrin Chris Maynor of Herrin Donnie Borders of Herrin He was preceded in death by his grandfather- Eugene Baldwin, grandmother-Judy Meyers and his best friend- Josh Porter.

Memorial services to celebrate Korey's life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Bill Rucker will officiate. A time of visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
