We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 96, Mary E. Raso of Herrin, Illinois, born in Makanda, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John C. Biggs and Winifred Allen Biggs; her husband Anthony J; her brothers, John, Clinton, Jim, Bill and Harry; and her cousin Phoebe Cox.

She is survived by : her children, Phyllis Raso Veach of West Lafayette, IN and David Raso (Jayne) of Pineville, LA; her son-in-law John Veach of West Lafayette; her cousin Jane Cox of Makanda; her nieces, Barbara Dillow of Cape Girardeau, MO and Karen Biggs of Oak Ridge, MO; and her nephew Bobby Biggs of Carbondale.

Donations may be made in her honor to a local animal shelter.
