Ramona Jean Waldrop Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ramona Jean Waldrop of Herrin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clethra McGee and Bertie McGee (Cannon). She is survived by: her husband Charles Ronald Waldrop (Ron); her children, Tara Hamlin (Scott) of Johnston City and Kevin Waldrop (Debbie) of Marion; her granddaughters, Lindsey Heldenfelds (William) and Jayma Stroud (Josh); her great grandchildren, Taryn Vordtriede, Tegan Newbury, Ellis Waldrop, Moxen Waldrop, Thea Waldrop, Emerli Stroud, Beckett Stroud and Scottie Heldenfelds; her sister Pat Noakes (P. D.) of Marion; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Hartwell (Tommy), Michele Daun (Robert), Richard Snider and Larry McGee; her in-laws, Charles and Alice Waldrop; her brothers, Paul McGee (Jean) and Kenneth McGee (Mary); her brother-in-law Arlen Waldrop (Marie); and her niece Kimberly Crowe-Lattuca. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home.
