It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Lynn (Thomas) Holden of Herrin, Illinois, born in West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John W. Thomas and Clara Elaine Thomas (Nolen). She is survived by : her husband Allen Holden; her children, Ryan Androff of Conway, Sean Gleghorn of Herrin and Amanda Baker (Matthew) of Herrin; her grandchildren, Brenden Baker, Vanessa Baker, Daniel Baker, Gabriella Baker and Jaxon Baker; her nephew John Michael Thomas; her brother Scott Thomas (Keri Richardson) of Benton; her uncles, Roy Wayne Nolen (Zina) of West Frankfort, Don Nolen (Lora) of Marion, Tom Nolen (Carla) of Herrin and Lowel Cabot Thomas; and her aunt Harriet Thomas Presa.
