We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, at the age of 77, Robert Lee Baker of Herrin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. "Bill" Baker and Wilma E. Baker (Morgan); his wife Lula Belle Williford; his daughters, Christina M. Cook and Cheri L. Worley; his sisters, Nina Baker and Wilma L. Baker; his grandchildren, Mellissa and Gabrielle; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Abbi, Jacob and Emma.
He is survived by: his son Robert N. Baker of Herrin, IL; his granddaughter Patricia K. Lyell (Brian) of Marion, IL; his children, Theresa (Charles Frost), Julie (Dave Kane), Tim (Vicky Capps), Hank (Liz Isbell), Pearl Alstat of Carbondale, Karen Isbell (Gary Robinson) of Herrin and Betty (Kelvin Walker); and his grandchildren, Natosha, Talitha, Matthew Frost, Benjamin, Sarah, Rebeccah Pierce, Larla, T. J. Capps, Jeremiah, Shelly Reagan, Jeffrey Isbell, Jeffrey Severs (J. D.), Holly Isbell, Caycee Isbell, Cody Alstat, Michael, Joseph, Nevaeh, Marie and Makayla Walker. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
