She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Jess and Ina Mae Herzing (Mann); her husband Edgar Lee Rodgers; and her daughter-in-law Robin Rodgers. She is survived by: her sons, Randy L. Rodgers, Sr. of Marion, IL and Danny R. Rodgers of Marion, IL; her grandchildren, Randall L. Rodgers, Jr. of Marion, IL, Ryan C. Rodgers of Marion, IL, Daniel Dees of Herrin, IL and Derek Dees (Erin) of Herrin, IL; her great grandchildren, Haylie, Rain, Alyssa Rodgers and Samson Dees; and her sisters, Ginger Sexton of Herrin, IL and Arlene Ridgway (Fred) of Frederick, CO. She is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home (900 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
