He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Zahnd and Ruth Zahnd (Powers); and his former wife Joyce Zahnd. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Zahnd; his sons, James Zahnd and Mikal Zahnd of McHenry; and his stepson Michael Kus of California. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one sister and many nieces and nephews.
