He was predeceased by: his father John Rice; his stepfather Randall Powell; and his pet Elvis. He is survived by: his mother Debra Ann Rice (Stanton) of Herrin; his children, Nicole Rice of Vienna, Noah Rice of Johnston City, Nathaniel Rice of Vienna and Gage Rice of New Burnside; his grandson Jonah Rice of Johnston City; his grandparents, Marvin and Joy Stanton of Marion; his former wife Amber Hubert of Granite City; his brothers, Joseph Rice of Harrisburg and David Rice of Marion; and his stepsiblings, Jane Rice of Galveston, TX, Debra Zissler of Westminster, CO., Susan Rice of Westminster, CO. and Terry Rice of Boulder, CO.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
