He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Sims of Herscher; his son Kevin Sims (Judy) of Wilmington; his sister Veronica Anderson of Bradley; and his grandchildren, Katie Tutt, Nicholas Sims, Aaron Sims, Michelle Marsden and Sara Pedicini.
