Bette Henson Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Bette Henson of Heyworth, Illinois is shared. Bette, born on January 23, 1943, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Bauer and Alyce Bauer (Weberg); and her brother Bruce Bauer. She is survived by: her husband Jim Henson of Heyworth; her sons, Jeff Henson (Sara) of Lompoc and Ron Henson (Devon) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Miranda (Logan), Ben, Carly (Chris) and Jack; and her great grandchild Sage.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial (1104 N Main St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In Bette's honor, memorial contributions may be left to. Special Olympics Illinois or the Alzheimer's Association.
