It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold B. Toni of Highland Park, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Toni, Fred Toni, Lucia Toni, Mario Toni and Eugenio Toni (Elena).

He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Crossman (Jim) of San Diego, CA and Arnold B. Toni, Jr. of West Chicago, IL.; his granddaughters, Elisa Crossman and Jessica Crossman (Ryan Murtha); his great grandchild Aurora Suter-Crossman; and his sister Maria Casini of Italy.

“I am so saddened by this news. Arnold was a dear family friend, and my dad's best friend. He was so kind, gentle, and always smiling. We saw him a couple of years ago, when Alma and Reguldo were helping to take care of him, along with the folks at Poeta's. When my dad died 9 years ago, he was the first to think of all of us, although already 91 himself. He brought dozens of roses to his memorial and I still have some of the petals to remind me of these two wonderful Italian men! RIP, dear man.”
