He was predeceased by: his parents, Meyer Kaplan and Bee Kaplan. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark and Felicia; his wife Carol Kaplan (Kozin); his children, Marty (Amy) and Alan (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jessica, Brett, Drew, Sydney, Dylan and Danielle; his siblings' children, Sandy, Paul and Ellie; Janice Gordon.
