He is survived by : his wife Josefina Salcedo Moncada; his children, Francisco Javier Jr., Juan Carlos (Carmen), Monica I., Edgar A. (Magda), Sandra (Ricardo Torres) and Paulo Cesar (Erica); and his grandchildren, Victoria Fier, Esai, Noah Torres, Leonardo Moncada, Gabriel Moncada, Rosanna Garcia, Alejandra S. Garcia of Abran, J. J and Lucas M. Moncada.
