He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Pieracci and Ida Pieracci; and his wife Wilma Vignocchi. He is survived by: his daughters, Julienne Rosser (Michael) and Laura Luby (Thomas); his grandchildren, Emily, Kevin Rosser, Jack Luby (Jenna) and Katherine Bertels (Josh); his great grandchildren, Matthew Luby and Benjamin Bertels; his sister Anna Serafini (Alex); his brother-in-law Harry Vignocchi (Debra); his nephew Peter Serafini; and his nieces, Stephanie Serafini and Donna Zych (Aaron).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christ Our Hope Parish – Saint James (134 North Ave, Highwood, IL 60040). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
