He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Cohen and Sylvia Cohen; and his sibling Leslie Cohen. He is survived by : his wife Norma; his children, Sheryl Solomon (Joel) and Dr. Larry Cohen (Renee Davidson); his grandchildren, Robert Solomon (Dasha) and Jesse Solomon; his great grandchildren, Ari and Jack Solomon; his siblings, Ronald, Doris and Merle; and his sister-in-law Gloria Goldberg (late William).

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the North Shore Congregation Israel (1185 Sheridan Rd, Glencoe, IL 60022).
