Louise M. McCarthy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise M. McCarthy of Highland Park, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Louise has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her husband James McCarthy; and her siblings, Nancy Pasquesi (late David), Norma Morgan (late Roger), Marco Santi (Doris) and Pelegrino.

She is survived by: her child Shawn McCarthy (Mary); and her grandchildren, Dr. Shannon McCarthy (Jeff Rehm) and Michael Roshetski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (Christ Our Hope Parish) (770 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
