We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 93, Manuela Gonzalez of Highland Park, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Manuela is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Manuela's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Gonzalez and Maria Echazarreta; and her children, Rosalinda Moreno, Benita M. (Ovidio) of León, Concepcion Moreno (Margarita), Pablo A. Moreno, Atanacio Moreno, Noe Moreno Ruby M. (Guadalupe), Camacho (Enrique), Ivonne M. Rodriguez (Ricardo), Jose A. Moreno (Maria) and Armando Moreno (Sandra). She was also cherished by 12 siblings, 34 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home (858 Sheridan Rd, Highwood, IL 60040). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (770 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035).
