He was predeceased by : his parents, Sebastian Palmer of Mallorca and Jane Livingston Palmer (Smalley); his adoptive parents, Everet Smalley and Frances Smalley; and his brother Alfred Palmer.

He is survived by : his wife Deb; his children, Carl (Katheryn) and Janette Wilson; the mother of his children June Wilson Palmer; and also, Thomas, Cami and Mariana.
