We are sad to announce that, on January 17, 2023, at the age of 91, Audrey Roberta Stone of Highland, Illinois, born in Pinckneyville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick "Fritz" Birkner and Cora Jane Birkner (Cottom); her husband James "Jim" Stone; and her siblings, Harold Birkner, Nelson Birkner, Delbert Birkner, Milton Birkner, Edna Dietrich, Erma Kelley and Geraldine Woodside.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Steven Stone (Jerri) of Trenton, IL; her grandsons, Andrew Stone (Rachael) of Edwardsville, IL, Brian Stone of Oak Creek, WI, Matthew Stone (Jena) of Louisville, KY and Eric Stone of Wood River, IL; and her great grandchildren, Lily Stone, Chloe Stone, Emilia Stone, Oliver Stone, Harper Stone and Barrett Stone. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
