He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Lindsey (Lorraine) and Anna Townsend (Harry); his parents-in-law, Hipiloto S. and Pauline C. Gamboa; his siblings, Ruby, Joanne Bloom (Roy), Carolyn Copeland, Gary Lindsey (Kathy), Jewell "Steve" Lindsey (Tilly), Ralph Lindsey, Francis Lindsey (Marie), Jean Lindsey and Donnie Lindsey; and his siblings-in-law, Don Lee, Patrick Lindsey, Joseph Gamboa and Diane Croteau.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mae Gamboa; his sons, Dennis Daniel Lindsey (Katherine) of Alhambra and David Andrew Lindsey of St. Jacob; his grandchildren, Autumn Rae Lindsey, Denny Daniel Lindsey II, McKenna Rae Lindsey, Auna Louise Lindsey, Madeline Schacher (Nate), Phillip Markunas (Arin), Anthony Markunas (Cara), Christina Bosserd (Kyle) and Cole Markunas (Nancy); his great grandchildren, Eisley, Colton, Lahnaya, Obadiah, Esme, Anika, Elijah, Falyn, Peter, Stetson and Lane; his siblings, Hannah Lee, Kay Outman, Dani Bryan (Bill), James "Bud" Lindsey, Kathy Lindsey and Joseph Lindsey (Stacy); and his sisters-in-law, Paula Lindsey and Karen Gamboa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Lung Association and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 1501 9th St., Highland, IL 62249, which is serving the family.
