We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Derek A. Burns of Highland, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Burns; and his sister Janine Hart. He is survived by: his father Jack Burns (Jan) of Fort Worth, TX; his siblings, David Burns of Irving, TX and Melissa Cusato (Brian) of Danville, KY; and his siblings' children, Jack A. Cusato, Samantha Cusato, Bailey Hart, Ian Hart and MacKenzie Hart. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Quincy Cursillo Group or St. Paul Catholic Church.
