With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dolores Braswell (Highland, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dolores left this world on December 11, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Wolbert and Esther Wolbert; and her husband Richard C. Braswell. She is survived by: her children, Debra Avila of Trinity, Greg Braswell of Bella Vista and Teri Mustain of Highland, Illinois.; her friends, Charlie and Marlene Rushing; her brother Richard Wolbert; and her sibling's children, Debra Avila (Jesus), Greg Braswell (Lisa) and Teri Mustain (Mark). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; and her 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evangelical United Church of Christ (2520 Poplar St, Highland, IL 62249). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In place of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a memorial donation to the Highland Community Schools Angel Fund or Highland Community School District Foundation.
