She was predeceased by: her parent Elmer; her grandmother Winter; her husband Virgil Anton Korte; her sister Frances Margy Metcalf; and her half-brother Elam Frutiger.

She is survived by: her children, Sheri Cunningham (John) of Prole, IA and Scott Korte (Jeannie) of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Andrea Gleason (Sean), Josh Cunningham (Sarah), Nisa Schmitz (Jason) and Danny Korte; her great grandchildren, Anton Schmitz and Brea Schmitz; and her sister Ramona Eve Perfetti of Highland, IL..
