He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Haberer and Sally Haberer; and his grandparents, Harry, Sophia Haberer, John and Kathleen "Kate" Schrumpf.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Haberer of Highland, IL; his sons, Luke Haberer (Anna) of Castle Rock, CO, Alec Haberer (Elizabeth) and Josh Haberer of Marine, IL; his grandchildren, Dakota, Colby Haberer and Nora Haberer; his siblings, Michael Haberer (Nancy) of Pocahontas, IL, Terry Lucas (Damon) of Edwardsville, IL, Bradley Haberer (Mona) of Edwardsville, IL and Randy Haberer (Becky) of Pocahontas, IL; and his pet Nilla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
