We bid farewell to Jean Porter of Highland, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Mabel Coonley; her husband Allen L. Porter; her father Rev. Alvin C. Coonley; her son Todd M. Porter; and her siblings, Alvin "Clifford" Coonley, Jr. and Hazel Kell.
She is survived by: her son Richard A. Porter, Sr. (Kathy) of Highland, IL; her daughter-in-law Robin Porter of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Richard A. Porter, Jr. (Danielle) of Highland, IL, Megan Marie and Amanda Leigh; her stepgranddaughter Abigail L. Hamilton; and her great grandchildren, Travis C. Porter of Highland, IL, Kylee E. Hediger of Highland, IL, Carson A. Porter of Highland, IL, Alexis M. Porter of Highland, IL, Savannah J. Porter of Highland, IL and Zane M. Dixon of Highland, IL. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home (1501 9th St, Highland, IL 62249). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
