He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward O'Bryan and Edna O'Bryan; his children, John D. O'Bryan Jr., Jackie Lambert and Cheryl Hessenauer; his great grandchild Shiloh Harris; and his sister Martha Clayton.

He is survived by : his wife Darlene O'Bryan of Highland, IL; his children, Greg O'Bryan, Jeff O'Bryan (Shelly), Billie Jo Albers (Tony) and Tammy Huggins (Dennis); his grandchildren, Pauline Huelsmann (Clayton Wilke), Catherine Huelsmann, Shawna Huelsmann, Joel Durbin, Jessica Albers, Cody Albers, Kayla Hessenhauer, Zackary McCarty, Michael Harris, Nick Harris (Shelly), Ashley Lambert, Rebecca O'Bryan, Jessica O'Bryan, Danny O'Bryan and Christopher O'Bryan; his great grandchildren, Conner, Brodin, Emily, Jacalyn, Presleigh, Kaeson, Kamirrah and Kaius; and his sister Kathleen O'Bryan (Philip). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
