He was predeceased by: his parents, Quinten Koch and Leona Koch; his former wife Betty Koch; his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Koch; his stepsons, Kenny Carpenter, Billy Cunningham and Johnny Cunningham; and his stepgranddaughter Jessica Parsons.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Dianne Funkhouser; his daughter Jean Gall (Koch); his son-in-law Steve "Skip" Gall; his grandchildren, Lauren Dauksch (Jason) and Corey Gall (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Harper Dauksch, Hudson Dauksch, Graham Gall and Gabrielle Gall; his stepgrandsons, Shawn Cunningham, Tristan Cunningham and Zach Cunningham; his stepgreat-granddaughter Ryann Krotz; and his siblings, Barbara Johannes (Don), Keith Koch (Norene), Tom Koch (Lynn) and Lynn Ritchie (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers.
