He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Melvin Draper III, Melissa Elizabeth Stewart and Casandra Draper; his stepchildren, Donald McDade and Amy Williams; and his sisters, Melba Lee "Skipper" Pelate and Nancy Taylor Katricka.
