He was predeceased by: his parents, August Kahrhoff and Alma Kahrhoff (Broeckling); his former wife Catherine Kahrhoff (Santel); his daughters, Mary Kahrhoff and Suzanne Bishop; his son-in-law Randy Toennies; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Helena Santel; his siblings, Dan Kahrhoff, Bill Kahrhoff and Marilyn Smith; his siblings-in-law, Doris "Dolly" Kahrhoff, Mary Kahrhoff, Aaron Swinford, Sr., Flora Santel, Vince Santel (Sophie), Olivia Meyer (Don), Mary Friess (John), Frank Santel and John Santel; his stepson-in-law Terry Fields; and his stepdaughter Terri Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Frey (Wall); his children, Nancy Heimann (Joe), Deb Koerkenmeier (John), Terry Linton (Marvin), Mary Kay Piper (Curt) and Jim Kahrhoff; his son-in-law Bill Bishop; his stepchildren, SuAnn Fields, Nancy Frey (Toni Corona) and Rick Frey (Lucy); his siblings, Rose Swinford and Bob Kahrhoff; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Santel, Irene Kahrhoff and Jim Smith. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association; American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or St. Paul Catholic Church and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home, 1501 Ninth St., PO Box 187, Highland, IL 62249, who is serving the family.
