She was predeceased by: her parents, Cammie Eugine and Maudie Lee Whittington; her husband Dalton J. Box; her siblings, Pearl Rawlings, Opal Ford, Walter Whittington, Atlina Fuller, Lorine Winston, Virgil Whittington and Shirley Parson; and her son-in-law Allen Keller.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Box (Linda) of Highland, IL, Terry Box (Lori) of Highland, IL, Gary Box (Patti) of Collinsville, IL and Gwen Keller of Troy, IL; and her sister Mary Lou Coleman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake View Funeral Home (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
