She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Kunkel and Oradell Kunkel; her husband Bill Mathias; and her siblings, Catherine Dortch, Ervin Kunkel, Philip Kunkel and Robert Kunkel.
She is survived by: her sons, James Irvin (Connie) of Collinsville, IL and Gary Irvin (Cheryl) of Glen Carbon, IL; and her close friend Robert Hinkle. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
