He is survived by: his close friend Shirley VonHatten of Highland, IL; his children, Michael T. Ahlmeyer (Leslie) of Shipman, IL and Karen M. Melosi (Tom) of Highland, IL; his grandchildren, Sam T., Derek M. Ahlmeyer of Alhambra, IL, Jacob T. Melosi of Collinsville, IL, Eric W. and Abby M. Hackstadt (Chase) of Saint Louis, MO; his stepgrandchildren, Clinton and Kadie; his brother Rodney K. Ahlmeyer (Tonia) of Highland, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Thelma Vernatti (Robert) of Marine, IL, Margie Giger (Robert) of Mooresville, IN and Robert Daiber (Karen) of Marine, IL..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home - Highland (1501 9th St, Highland, IL 62249). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1412 9th St, Highland, IL 62249).
