It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tronda D. Gillespie of Highland, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Hinze and Wanda Hinze. She is survived by: her pets, Angel, Mitzy and Molly; her husband Joe Gillespie Jr. of Highland, IL; her son W. Joe Gillespie III (Janet) of Highland, IL; her granddaughter Alayna Gillespie (Eddie); her sister Carolyn Robinson; and her nieces, Carol Weiss and Billie Hofmann.
Memorial donations can be made to the Metro East Humane Society or HSHS Hospice of Southern Illinois.
