We announce the death of Ben Mui (Highwood, Illinois), born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 77. Ben will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parent Choy Lung Chin; and his siblings, Yuk Oi Poy, Bing Mui and Susan Woods. He is survived by: his wife Helen Mui; his siblings, Bon, Bond and John; his children, Christine Scott (Brad) of Lake Forest, Stephanie Weber (Klaus) of Evanston and Michael Mui (Sijie) of Hamilton Township, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Cian, Lukas, Theodor, Matthias, Addison and Declan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
